Welcome to our Pollinator Labyrinth!

While you are here for care, please feel free to wander our pollinator labyrinth. This was our 3 year project to enhance habitat for native pollinators including bumble, mason, and other bees, butterflies, birds and moths. It is 120 feet in diameter! We have planted almost exclusively native species of plants for these creatures. The plants were selected to provide a continuous source of food from early spring until late fall. Some prairie plants will take 3 years from seed to germination! Every year we are excited to see what new plants will emerge!
The entrance is through the garden arch. As you wander, take a few deep breaths. Just breathe, and listen! In high summer, there is a constant thrum of activity.
Please silence your phone, but feel free to take lots of photos, or even set up a chair and do a little nature journaling.
Please take care if you are allergic to bees! Most bees are exceedingly friendly, but they appreciate quiet and respectful behavior on our part. If walking your dog, they must be kept on a short leash, and poop bags are located near by, you know what to do.
